Silent Wings Museum Open Call for Greatest Generation Poetry Competition 2024

Calling all poets! The Silent Wings Museum is thrilled to announce the launch of its annual poetry competition, inviting poets to participate in celebrating the spirit of resilience and courage that defined an era.

From March 4 – March 22, 2024, aspiring poets are encouraged to submit their original works for consideration in the Greatest Generation Poetry Competition. Selected finalists will not only earn recognition for their creativity but will also have the prestigious opportunity to have their poetry displayed alongside the captivating works of American Glider Pilots. The exhibit will run throughout April 2024, providing platform for poets to share their perspectives, insights, and creativity with a wider audience.
