Snoop Dogg Drops First Single from Upcoming Missionary Album – ‘Gorgeous’ Out Now
Rap icon Snoop Dogg is giving fans a taste of his upcoming album Missionary, crafted in collaboration with his longtime friend and producer Dr. Dre.
On Friday, November 1 — roughly five weeks before the album’s official launch — the Gin and Juice artist dropped the album’s first single Gorgeous, featuring R&B sensation Jhené Aiko. Fans can now watch the song’s lyric video on Snoop’s official YouTube channel.
This album marks a significant reunion for Snoop and Dr. Dre, being their first full-length project together since Snoop’s 1993 debut, Doggystyle. In fact, Missionary is being hailed as a spiritual successor to Doggystyle, widely considered one of hip-hop’s greatest albums.
Missionary boasts an impressive lineup of guest artists including Tom Petty, Eminem, 50 Cent, Jelly Roll, K.A.A.N., Method Man, Smitty, Sting, Cocoa Sarai, Dem Jointz, Stalone, Fat Money, BJ the Chicago Kid, Alus, and Jhené Aiko. As Snoop’s 20th studio album, Missionary is set to drop on December 13, 2024, under Death Row, Aftermath, and Interscope labels, featuring 15 tracks.
