Tech’s regular season meet consisted of seven meets with four being in New Mexico, one in Indiana and two in Texas. The women’s side has been paced all season by sophomore Juliet Cherubet, who holds a 6k personal best time of 18:37.00. That time was registered at the Arturo Barrios Invite – the final regular season meet two weeks ago. In four meets this year, Cherubet has three first-place finishes and one second-place outing.

Meanwhile, over on the men’s side, Ernest Cheruiyot and Solomon Kipchoge have been leading the pack. Cheruiyot (three meets) opened the season with back-to-back wins before finishing second at Arturo Barrios. His second-placing outing was due to his running mate Kipchoge finishing first with a blazing time of 22:01.40. The only other race this season for Kipchoge was the season-opener in which he won as well.
