LUBBOCK, Texas – Big Noon Kickoff kicks off an exciting day on campus Saturday as FOX’s pregame show will air live from the greenspace area located immediately west of Jones AT&T Stadium.

The ultimate pregame tailgate starts at 7:30 a.m. with the opening of the fan pit. Fans who want the best spot to increase their chance of being on the broadcast are encouraged to arrive ahead of gates opening. Admission is free and first-come, first-serve.

The cast of Big Noon Kickoff will interact with fans throughout the broadcast, so Red Raiders are encouraged to wear their scarlet and black and bring their best signs. The most creative sign will receive $500 along with other prizes for top signs. All signs brought to the show must abide by FOX Sports sign policies.

Texas Tech will monitor its gameday lots beginning early Saturday morning in anticipation of its 3 p.m. kickoff later that afternoon against Colorado. Red Raider Club members will have access to donor lots beginning at 7 a.m. to attend the show. Fans without donor parking are recommended to utilize the following free parking options to attend the show:

  • Ranching and Heritage Center – The lot will be complimentary to fans, who can then access the greenspace area by utilizing a nearby pedestrian bridge.
  • Flint Avenue Parking Garage
  • R-13 lot off University Avenue in front of Drane Hall.
  • Lots north and east of University Medical Center – Fans can park and use the 9th Street bridge to access the Big Noon Kickoff set.

Big Noon Kickoff is hosted each week by Rob Stone along with analysts Mark Ingram II, Matt Leinart, Urban Meyer and Brady Quinn, highlighting the top games from across the country, which includes the matchup between the Red Raiders and Buffaloes. Texas Tech and Colorado both enter this weekend contending for a top spot in the Big 12 standings as the Red Raiders are 6-3 overall and 4-2 in Big 12 play, while the Buffaloes are 6-2 overall and 4-1 in league action.

Kickoff between Texas Tech and Colorado is set for 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon on FOX. The game is already sold out, but Big Noon Kickoff will be giving away tickets to those in attendance. Fans can also enter for a chance at $5,000 in the Big Noon Sweepstakes. The winner will be announced at the end of the show.
