ABC/Randy HolmesJAY-Z is definitely focused on being a “business, man.”

According to TMZ, the Roc Nation mogul is reportedly in talks to purchase Harvey Weinstein‘s share of The Weinstein Company amid the fallout from allegations of sexual assault against the movie producer.

Sources tell the gossip site that Jigga and several other investors, including another notable movie producer and a billionaire, are interested in buying Weinstein’s 23% interest in the company.

Jay has had an ongoing working relationship with Harvey and The Weinstein Company.

Last year, Jay struck a first-look deal with the company, which produced his film The Kalief Browder Story. He and the company are also teaming on an upcoming Trayvon Martin miniseries.

Jay reportedly wants a larger stake in The Weinstein Company that his relationship with it can continue to grow, even if Harvey is no longer part of it.
